Prayer

Prayer and meditation are my connection to the source of peace. When I am stressed, praying and meditating helps me to stay calm.

When I feel myself getting overwhelmed by responsibilities, I am able to pray as a way to clear my mind and organize my thoughts.

When I pray, I build up my faith. I speak to God, sharing my fears, thoughts, and feelings. I pray in a quiet place, where I can shut off the noise from the world.

After I pray, I sit in silence and wait. I listen to the voice of peace that speaks to me in stillness.

Whatever I set my mind on, I become. Therefore, I think lofty thoughts. When I pray I declare my dreams a reality.

I know that there is someone bigger than me who cares for me and I do not have to face the world alone.

What a joy it is to know that I do not have to figure everything out by myself! There are ears ready to hear me when I call. All I have to do is sit quietly in prayer and meditation.
